Alarm Battery Replacement Proceedure

Post by DivideByZero » Wed Apr 10, 2013 11:21 pm

My battery appears to be on its way out as I am presented with the following on the console.

I couldnt find much in the manual, but I did find this web page with the instructions on how to replace the battery in a BMW 1200GS. ... 645&page=2

Anyone else had to replace their battery yet?

The manual is as useful as a teacup in a sand storm when it comes to details, but has anyone removed their batter? Is there a trick to it? I have tried sliding it out of its seat and then to the right at an angle but it keeps getting caught at the bottom.
