Battery removal/change

Post by Malines » Sun Jul 03, 2016 7:27 pm

Hello everyone, i have recently bought my first motorcycle which is the almighty Nuda :)
i cant ride it very often, mostly only once a week and i noticed that the start-up became slower and slower

the last time i tried, it didnt have enough power left to start. i have searched in the workshop manual on how to get access to the battery but i cant really figure it out

can someone explain how to reach the battery/where it is located?
is jumpstarting the battery with a car safe?

Get an Optimate Charger/Conditioner. There'll be a plug to attach to the battery so just need to connect to recharge. But if you really want to take it out then lower right of the frame. Twisty/turny!

Don't take offence at this post it is not meant ;)

If you cannot even find the battery I would take caution doing anything else
get someone with a bit of mechanical knowledge to help you find your way first

Good luck

thanks clik and Zorg for the details, i have succeeded in taking the battery out.
i've brought it to some motorcycle garage and they will recharge it for only 2eur (1,7GBP) - i'll have it back upcoming Tuesday

hopefully that will fix it, if so i'll buy and optimate charger later on
