500 euro challenge

Post by brom » Thu Sep 17, 2015 6:37 pm

I am off on a ride next month its a 500 euro thing, I had to buy a bike for less than 500e then we ride down to and over the col de parpaillon (its a unmade road) starts on the 1st oct back (hopefully) on the 8th, its 2650m high with a tunnel at the top thats closed at the far end, total distance about 2500kms, I have got a 1987 honda transalp 600 cost 430e, its a bit noisy but runs ok, just hope the snow keeps away

I truly love 500 euro challenges! I'm thinking about doing the same with some mates next year!

well set off on transalp got 10 kms then it started running on 1 cyl, so came home and out with the nuda and yes it got me to the top of the parpillion last 1/2km was hard (lots of snow) and could not travel thru tunnel because if the ice, will post photos later :D

Nice one Brom.
Looks like you guys had a good time, thanks for sharing mate.
Awesome scenery but looks a bit too cold for me.
I've turned into a bit of a softy since moving out here.
Great video Brom, thanks again... :D
