Re: Some dismanteling / refitting questions

5) can I dismount the BMW DIN sensor and simply replace it by a USB port or am I missing something? 6) Should I fear ECU programming is required if I diconnect the battery for a long time ? If by "DIN sensor", you mean the aux. power socket residing on the left side of the engine, then the answer i...

Re: PRICE OF NUDA NEW IN FEB 2013

SharkFinn, just out of interest, how much was the basic Nuda model in Finland new in February 2013? More than 10,000 euros? Can't say for sure about February, it was around that time that the brand was sold and after that the finnish importer dumped the prices on the remaining stock. Nuda prices in...

Re: Atfermarket tail-/brake light

Managed to find a universal one that's somewhat Ok, was a straight fit to the Evotech tail tidy and even the angles match :)
Bought it at a local parts store and set me back 29,70 after discounts.

Atfermarket tail-/brake light

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket tail-/brake light, if so, which? The original is done for, started flickering two weeks ago and died last week. Opened up the unit and the ground wire had come loose, had to use a fair amount of violence to get it open (don't think it's meant to be opened), so it's n...

Re: Suppliers of carbon goodies. .

http://hfcarbon.de has been mentioned here
While not in the UK, their prices are quite reasonable so it'll probably offset any shipping costs compared to Ilmberger.

Re: Identical parts - Nuda 900 vs F800GS

My thoughts exactly, Erik. It's going to take a while but I'm going to put something together comparing the two bikes. Shouldn't be too hard, think I have a BMW parts list in excel somewhere with 350k part# Only need drop the first 4 digits from the BMW part# and then compare whats left to the Nuda...

Re: Possible high idle.

Probably the Throttle Position Sensor that needs to be reset, IIRC you can do that with the GS-911 tool. Don't know if the following will work on Husqvarna bikes, but on BMW's you could do the same reset by following these easy steps: Turn the ignition on, but don't start the bike Turn the throttle ...

Re: Mirrors. What thread are they?

BMW uses M10x1.5 on many bikes, so probably same on the Nuda.
